Beautiful place to stay

Clean, well-located, great hosts

Our stay was lovely, the home, river and short walk to downtown were just right! Positive: We loved the charm of the Inn, it had a sense of history, yet everything from paint to fixtures to furnishings were so fresh. This was the cleanest room I’ve stayed in for a long time! Negative: Nothing

It’s our second time staying at the Goldsmith- first time we stayed in apt 5 but it was not available this time around so we booked #4. So happy we did! It’s a cute, cozy space with a sweet view of the river from the bedroom. Kitchen is well appointed (though we did not cook while staying there) and the bed was super comfy! Slept with windows open at night and enjoyed the cool breezes and the soothing sounds of the river. Best part is the location, though. It’s right across from Univ of Montana campus, and there’s a footbridge that you can use to get to campus AND to the famous “M” hike 😊 Also a walking trail that leads straight into downtown area. Note to travelers: there is a train track nearby and you will hear the train whistle blow several times a night. It did not bother us too much but do be prepared to close windows if it’s too loud. Train horn aside, we love Goldsmith Inn and would not consider staying anywhere else in Missoula for future visits. We can’t wait to return!

The accomodations are outstanding. We will stay there again. Everything in or about the room was Five Star. And the riverfront setting is beautiful.

We were in town for a Sturgill Simpson concert. The location was perfect and walkable to great food and drink. Super relaxing location right on the river bank. A real treat!

The house was super comfortable, our room had a river view. It was absolutely gorgeous and clean, has everything you need. If we get back to Missoula, we’d love to stay again.

We LOVED this place!! From the river sounds, the history of the house, the location, the front porch, it was perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk to most all of our activities. The bed is so comfortable. I'm sure the tv worked, but we did not even turn it on. :) We will totally stay here again!

Positive: Loved the location…it was our first time in Missoula and being on the river with the bridge to the campus was a beautiful setting. Exactly what we were looking for after a long day of driving. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend

This was restful and serene. I would DEFINITELY come back again! Positive: ...and I am recommending it to anyone traveling in the area. It was sublime, laying in bed with the window open to the breeze and listening to the river. Bonus - it was raining when we arrived and the sound of rain and distant thunder added to the ambience. Very meditative. Negative: Not that you have any control over it, but we could do without the train 2 blocks away and its 2-3 times/night whistle!

Great accommodations and location at a reasonable price, will be looking to stay here again!

This place is fantastic - this was my second time staying here and, if anything, it was better than the description: beautiful views, easy walking distance to downtown and the university. I would never stay anywhere else in Missoula. Just perfect.

We loved our stay! the location was perfect and right on the river. The parking was easy, as was the keyless access. The apartment was so spacious, sunny, and clean. It had everything we needed. The view from the bedroom was fantastic, from its front row seat for watching the river, it's wildlife, and happy floaters during the day, to gazing at the iconic walking bridge in all its lighted splendor at night. The shower was lovely, and the view from the window was awesome. We sat on the patio of the shop next door, and it was so private! The walking path ends in front of the house, so the area is so quiet, yet you can hop on it and be on the walking bridge and the gorgeus UM campus in a minute. Thanks for a perfect 34th wedding anniversary stay. We will be back!

This was the perfect spot and close enough to downtown that we walked. I loved the homey interior it had and was exactly as described. Jordan and Courtney responded quickly and were extremely friendly and communicative. The price is amazing and you cannot beat the location on the river. The place was also spotless and very quiet. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful, relaxing & beautiful place to vacation Positive: Picturesque location and charming house, the apartment was spacious and had an abundance of amenities in the full kitchen and bathroom. Close to nature and downtown. Air conditioning worked well, it was hot in Missoula while we were there. Fan in the bedroom was perfect and the bed and bedding were so cozy. Loved being right next to the river and looking at it right outside the bedroom window instead of buildings or traffic, so relaxing! Great alternative to a boring hotel room. Negative: If I have say something negative, it would be the following: the couch in our unit was uncomfortable; it felt like it was pushing us off. This would not stop us from recommending this location or returning in the future 😊

What a cute little apartment type setup!!! Very quiet neighborhood. Not enough lighting, though, at night to get to the front of the building. I really loved the stay. The bed was amazingly comfy and it was just the kind of place I’d def go stay at again!! Highly recommend this to anyone not wanting to stay at a hotel. Very quaint older style home. If you have any problems with stairs these can be difficult to manage with luggage.

Great stay Positive: Jordan went above and beyond to make our stay great. We had a couple of hiccups the last time we stayed here but he ensured everything was addressed and even gifted us with a 6-pack. Place was clean comfortable and of course close to the Griz stadium. Negative: Nothing!

A great time had by all. Positive: We liked being able to make dinner and hang out with friends.

Among my favorite Airbnbs of all time! Open the window in the bedroom to hear the peaceful river. Right across the river from the U of Montana and a short walk to great places to eat and drink.

You certainly get more than you pay for, and can be absolutely self-sufficient for food, or go out. Thoughtful design and appliance choices, and EVERYTHING you need to prep meals.

Communication before our arrival was clear, friendly and welcoming - as well as helpfully informative about construction nearby. I knew if I needed anything during my stay I could have reached out. Due to such good overall preparation and thoroughness, I had no needs. It was a lovely experience.

We're very seasoned Airbnb guests and were very happy that Jordan and Courtney's place was one of the very good ones! Super clean and well outfitted. Really great walkable location for getting into town, campus and lovely walks along the river. Immediate response when we had some trouble with the front door lock and Jordan was there super fast with replacement batteries. We'll be back!

Really enjoyed staying at The Goldsmiths. I loved watching the folks on the inner tubes floating down the river. Very convenient location with Albertson's right up the block and FINN a block in the other direction. Thank you! Ron & Richard

I had such a great stay at Goldsmith’s, I wish I’d been planning to be in Missoula longer to enjoy some more down time on the porch by the river. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Parking and checking in was easy. I’m absolutely planning to stay here again the next time I’m in Missoula!

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Goldsmiths! It was such a serene location and the river view from the bedroom was top notch. We will definitely recommend and will stay there next time we are in town!

Nice, comfortable place in an excellent location. The AC units in my apartment (#4) were pretty loud, but temperatures cooled at night so it was no problem just turning off the bedroom unit to sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent a week at Courtney and Jordan's place and it was very nice. It was as advertised, very clean and best of all right on the river. I spent most evenings sitting on the front porch, looking at the river and reading a book. Very peaceful . Kitchen was well equipped and bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was welcome as it was very hot.

This was my second stay at their place and it didn’t disappoint. Peaceful and right along the river.

Needed a place last minute and found this gem! No wonder it’s always booked! Perfect spot right on the river, made for a peaceful night’s sleep! Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to family members for their future trips to Missoula.

This place is perfect! It has everything you need and the location is great. We were in town for UM graduation and it was just a short walk away from campus. The house has so much charm and is totally updated. This will be our go to property for any future trips to Missoula.

Jordan and Courtney were delightful hosts and incredibly responsive. The apartment is airy and very roomy. Gorgeous river view. So convenient to the pedestrian bridge and the Kim Williams Trail and a vey short distance from downtown. The bike shop next door is great and the people there are friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Wow! What an amazingly beautiful and peaceful oasis! This is where we're staying in Missoula from now until forever! Out of the roughly 500 airbnbs in Missoula, this is THE ONE! Historic, amazing location, sounds and sights of the river right out the door, wonderful hosts, Courtney and Jordan, super friendly and informative about all Missoula. As a fellow Superhost, I do realize the work and love that goes into making a destination home for a few days and we really felt we were home. We'll be back soon! Love love loved this space! Watched two bald eagles on the river from the bed. Central and walkable, had everything I needed in the kitchen. They thought of everything. I will come back here for sure

Great base camp for campus visits, trail access and easy to get downtown. Beautiful spot with all amenities. Kitchen and laundry worked great. Great year round spot.

We have stayed at a couple of the Goldsmith rooms and both are outstanding! Comfortable, warm, inviting, convenient...I can't praise this AirBnb enough.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was spacious, really beautifully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was really great. We stayed in apartment #4 which had a view of the river. It was our first time in Missoula and the location of Goldsmith's Bed & Breakfast made it easy to explore the city. We went to a concert at the KettleHouse Amphitheater and it was a quick drive to get there (there are also shuttle buses that you can take, a 10-min walk away). We highly recommend this lodging!

Great stay and location. Our travel plans changed at the last minute and they were great to work with to check in a day early. Loved this unit and location. Great fishing in the river under the bridge. $20 uber to Kettlehouse. Try out Paul's Pancakes.

Beautiful historic property on the river. Apartment 4 was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked with spices, natural cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The river is viewable from the bedroom window and sounds amazing when sleeping with the window open. The towels and sheets were very soft and welcoming. The apartment is situated within walking distance to many downtown shops. We will be making this our Missoula stopover every time we travel through.

Great spot the river

Beautiful place! It’s very well kept, super clean and very comfortable. The location is great, you have a grocery store right next door (maybe like 2-3 min walk but that’s it) there’s also some fast food chains in case you like that (McDonald’s and Five Guys) The place itself is very well equipped with the basics that anyone would need (coffee, salt, some spices, cookware, towels, etc) The trail next to the river is right outside and you can also cross the bridge to get to the trail on the other side pretty easily. Downtown is within walking distance- you can get there through the trail or the street In general I do recommend this place, you won’t regret it.

Beautiful view of the Clark Fork River in the cozy condo. The appliances were top of the line, towels were fluffy and new and the bed was comfortable. We stayed a week and the washer and dryer were great to have in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and coffee filters and the bottled water available was appreciated. Because the weather went from 40’s to 90’s during the week -the air conditioning and the heat were both put to use . We will return to Unit 4 next time we visit Montana. (Sitting on the porch with coffee was a treat! )
